Patsy Takemoto Mink Education Foundation

In 2003 the scholarship was created in her name. there are a total of five awards for as much as $2,000 that are given to women who have children and who are low income. The applicant must be at least seventeen and they must have at least one minor child. The women who apply also have to be enrolled in an ESL, a GED, degree, or skills training program. Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship

The Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship is the third scholarship for single mother. It was established back in 1990 to help single parents to pay for college tuition. Those who are interested have to have low income, have to be a single parent, and they have to be an Arkansas resident who doesn’t have a degree of four years already.
