Grant applications send in a 500 word or less biographical statement which includes their birth date. The candidate also has to send a writing sample of as many as ten pages for a drama piece, 10,000 words for nonfiction or fiction, and a synopsis of one page that accompanies a novel part. It’s also required for the applicant to include the bibliography of the work they’ve published, since having had work published is something that is a prerequisite. The grant value is $750.
