These scholarships are offered by Fordham University found in New York, and the scholarships are from the resources of the school. The three types of scholarships for Catholics are the Jesuit, Semifinalist, and Presidential scholarships and these scholarships are offered to those students graduating from high school and who are in their class’s top 1%. The recipients of the Jesuit scholarship have to be graduating from Jesuit high school. The recipients of the Jesuit and Presidential scholarships receive scholarships that are four years and this includes their room and board cost. The scholarships recipients must be enrolled on a full time basis and have a GPA of at least 3.0. Knights of Columbus Scholarships
These scholarships for Catholics from the Knights of Columbus have given money to more than 673 students that totaled over $1.6 million. These students were both seminarians as well as those who were going after bachelor’s degrees, throughout the Philippines and North America during the academic year of 2009-2010. Scholarships through the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association
The scholarships through this association help the people who come from Slavic backgrounds to go through issues with life insurance. This association has been in operation for over 100 years and there are branches in 47 out of the 50 states. The association is active in Catholic educaton and provides scholarships for elementary, high school, college, and graduate education to children of members.
